CCL latest expansion drive takes off with move into West London

Ventilation specialists open new branch near Heathrow

In a major development Contract Components Ltd (CCL) has announced the opening of a new branch in West London on the periphery of Europe's biggest airport.

The new 6000ft² facility marks CCL's first venture into this busy West London area and gives the company a flying start to one of its busiest ever periods. Further branch openings are already in the pipeline.

A delighted David Barker joint managing director of CCL underlined the significance of this new branch.

"With turnover now in excess of seventeen million pounds a year CCL is beyond question the biggest specialist supplier to the ductwork industry and with our new Manchester factory we will be able to manufacture over 50% of all our products in house. This boosted manufacturing capability is of very real significance to all our customers - lead times on "specials" will be shorter and improved production efficiency will enable us to maintain our competitive selling prices.

Customers in the West London area will be able to enjoy CCL's standards of service and delivery for the very first time. Our new branch will carry comprehensive stocks of components and accessories for ventilation and air conditioning systems of all types - everything from spiral ducts to grilles and diffusers, from fans to fixings - available both from the Trade counter and via our fast delivery service. West London will also be able to call on our stocks throughout our national network which now total some three million pounds at any one time. We make, we stock and we deliver is the policy our new West London branch will bring direct to contracting customers in this important area".

David M^cBride former manager of CCL's north London branch will take over responsibility for West London bringing an unrivalled level of experience to support the launch of this key new facility.
