Now available from Contract Components (CCL) is the Zest range of blast gate dampers in metric sizes from 63-300mm diameter.

Designed for long life reliability under the most arduous operating conditions. Zest Blast Gates are robustly constructed with the main body being die cast in aluminium alloy. Damper blades are manufactured from corrosion resistant “zintec” steel.

This rugged, efficient design makes the new Metric Blast Gate Dampers ideal for applications in a wide range of industries including fume, dust and wood waste extract. They are also suitable for use in association with agricultural machinery, marine ventilation, furnaces and grain drying plants.

Adjustment of airflow is simple – the free moving blade being locked into the open or closed position by manual operation of a simple thumb screw.

Pneumatic Blast Gates
For applications where manual control is not safe or practical, CCL also offer a metric range of Zest Pneumatic Blast Gate Dampers. These units retain all the features of the standard range with the additional benefit of full remote control. The availability of pneumatic operation enlarges the range of applications to include processing plants and handling of animal feed stuffs in addition to air movement.

For applications involving fumes of a corrosive nature, damper blades for both manual and pneumatically operated Zest Blast Gates can be supplied in 316 stainless steel to special order.
