Contract Components Ltd (CCL) has been appointed national distributor to the heating and ventilating industry by Elta Fans.

Announcing the development, CCL joint Managing Director David Barker explained theat the addition of Elta's range would bring new versatility to CCL's already comprehensive service.

''CCL is the UK's largest manufacturer of spiral and flexible ductwork with a turnover fast approaching £20 million. A national network of thirteen branches means that we can offer an unrivalled service to both manufacturers and customers for an expanding range of products including fans, air terminal devices and other ventilation and air conditioning components.

The Elta range fits perfectly with our aim of offering a one-stop shopping opportunity to the busy contractor. Elta products will be available from all our branches nationwide. Current expansion of our own transport fleet means that we are able to offer both delivery and inter-branch transfer facilities to meet virtually any requirement at short notice.''

Manufactured on the south coast of England in one of the industry's most modern production plants which incorporates a full test facility, Elta fans range from plate mounted axials to belt-driven twin fan sets for roof mounted extract systems.

Popular models include the Revolution series of long cased axial fans. These ducted units offer models to suit most applications with diameters ranging from 315 to 710mm and a variey of impeller blade/hub combinations. Both impeller and the platform mounted motor are contained within the overall casing length so that the fan can be moved laterally from within an in-line duct installation with comparative ease. A full range of accessories including speed controllers, AVM's and silencers is available.

The Elta Multiflow range of mixed flow fans incorporates both square cased and cylindrical models. Square cased SMB units are ideally suited for installation within rectangular ductwork and offer six single phase sizes all suitable for fixed or variable speed use. High performance is achieved by means of the unique impeller blade geometry. Similar technology enhances the performance of the Multiflow cylindrical cased models which provides a perfect complement to CCL's huge range of spiral ductwork and components.
