CCL doubles size of Southampton branch CCL now national distributor for Elta fan range

As part of its specialist service to the air conditioning and ventilation insustry, CCL is now offering a range of Access Doors for use with all types and shapes of ductwork.

All models in the CCL range are suitable for high, medium and low-pressure applications.

CCL's comprehensive RD Series of rectangular Access Doors is both thermally and acoustically insulated. All door panels are of double skin construction completely enclosed around a 25mm thick layer of high density insulation material.

All RD doors are manufactured to precise engineering standards to ensure close fit tolerances and feature and integral ''pull-ring'', which permits the door to be easily removed and refitted. Every RD door is fitted with two gaskets to ensure a good seal between frame and ductwork.

CCL RD Series rectangular Access Doors have been independently tested by BSRIA for compliance to HVCA Standard DW142 class D and are suitable for maximum operating pressures of 2500 Pa positive and 750 Pa negative.

Users may specify either cam type or hinged doors from sizes between 150 x 150 and 600 x 600mm. Other sizes are available to special order.

Tectite Doors

CCL Tectite range of Oval Access Doors is available in five sizes to provide degrees of access of a single hand to full head and shoulder entry. Doors are featured of double skin constuction with a 25mm thick high density insulation material safely sealed between. The one piece mounting frame permits doors to be installed in such a way that a flush finish can be achieved on plain or insulated ductwork. All sizes in the range are fitted as standard with retaining chain between the door and frame.

Unique Range

As the unique UK's largest manufacturers of spiral ductwork, CCL have unrivalled experience in the requirements of this type of ventilation trunking - experience which has lead to the company's unique range of Curved Duct Access Doors specially designed for use with circular ducting.

Correctly installed these doors will provide an airtight seal up to 2500 Pa, meeting the requirements of HVCA DW142 specification classes A, B, C and D. Doors are available to suit duct diameters from 100mm to 2000mm and each unit is supplied with a complete self-adhesive template, which eliminates the need for any measuring or marking out during installation of a door.

Standard door panels are manufactured in corrosion resistant galvanised mild steel but specifiers may opt for aluminium or stainless steel to special order.

The full range of CCL's duct access doors including the curved models are available from all branches in the company's distribution network.
